Guided Gourmet Hike

This is a fun, informative and invigorating hike with gorgeous views high up on Mt. Werner. Guided by a Steamboat Ambassador, the hike begins at the top of the Gondola then proceeds along the Vista Nature Trail, stopping along the way for pictures and interesting talks about the mountain and the community.
You will return at approx. 1:45-2pm. The hike is intermediate/advanced, and about 3 miles roundtrip. Not recommended for children under 10.
Menu
Lunch consists of several entrees, salads and deserts along with wine and soft drinks. On Sundays, guests will enjoy our famous Sunday Buffet 'Brunch on the Mountain' after the hike, complete with a glass of Champagne or Mimosa for guests over age 21.
Meeting Location
On the day of the hike guests will meet at the information center at 10:30am. Lunch will be on the 3rd floor deck overlooking the Yampa Valley at approximately at 12:00pm.
Dates
The hike is offered Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, from June 21 - August 23, 2009. Guests need to make reservations 24 hours in advance.

Our friendly Ambassador staff offers a FUN Mountain Hiking Tour for intermediate and advanced hikers. Learn everything you want to know about the forest, the resort, the Yampa Valley and its history.

The tours are offered on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s starting June 23rd and leave from the Information Center at 10:30 am.
