Summer Gondola Tickets & Passes

About

Take a ride up Mt. Werner and enjoy the views that can only be appreciated from Steamboat's own eight-passenger gondola. Enjoy panoramic views, wildflowers, or changing aspen as you hike or bike on one of our trails. Soak up the sun and views of the valley from the Oasis Sun Deck or a memorable Sunday Brunch at Hazie's.

Location

The Steamboat Gondola is located at the base of Mt. Werner in Gondola Square.

Summer Gondola Hours/Dates

The Gondola operates Monday-Saturday from 10am-4pm, and Sundays from 9:30am – 4:00pm, with last down load at 4:30pm. The dates the Gondola will be open are listed below.

Operational dates of Gondola are June 15-17, June 22-August 19, August 24-26, August 31-September 3, and September 7-9, 14-16, 21-23, 28-30.

Ride-n-Slide

Take a scenic ride up Mt. Werner on the Steamboat Gondola, then head downtown to ride the "Howler" Alpine Slide. Ride-n-Slide features a discounted Gondola ticket and 3 rides on the "Howler" Alpine Slide at Howelsen Hill.

Gondola Summer Season Pass

Enjoy your summer in Steamboat with a 2012 Summer Gondola season pass. Passes will be available for pickup at the summer ticket office beginning June 15, 2012.

Steamboat Mountain Biking on the Mountain

Purchase Mountain Bike access tickets at the Main Ticket Office. Mountain Bike access tickets are required to ride the Gondola with a bike and on all DH only trails and valid all day, weather permitting.

Bike Passes will be available for pickup at the summer ticket office beginning June 15th, 2012. Mountain bike tickets are valid all day, weather permitting. All mountain bikes must have ticket attached to ride the Gondola. All mountain bikers must have a Gondola ride daily ticket or pass (see above).

Proof of age (birth certificate, driver's license, college student ID, etc.) is required for those buying passes with age restrictions.
