Reactivation FAQ
- What does it mean to reactivate a pass?
- You can use your same physical pass you used for the 2007/08 season for the 2008/09 season. You just need to purchase the new pass type online and your pass will automatically be updated to reflect your new purchase.
- How do you reactivate your pass?
- If you had a valid 2007/08 Steamboat only pass (not an ultimate pass), and you are purchasing a Steamboat only or Super Value Pass , you simply purchase your new pass type online and we will automatically update last years pass with your new pass type. You can go direct to the lifts.
- What if I had an Ultimate (Steamboat with Copper Mountain and Winter Park) pass? Can I reactivate my pass online?
- Ultimate passes can be reactivated online. Your pass will remain the same for any Steamboat only or Ultimate Pass Purchase. You simply purchase your new pass type online and we will automatically update last years pass with your new pass type. You can go direct to the lifts.
- What if I am upgrading or downgrading my pass?
- If you are moving between steamboat only products, you may reactivate your pass online. For example, if you are moving from a super value pass to a season pass or if you have a season pass and are downgrading to a 20-day pass, you simply purchase your new pass type online and we will automatically renew your 2007/08 pass to your new type for 2008/09.
- If you had a Steamboat season pass or a Super Value Pass and want to upgrade to an Ultimate pass, simply purchase the pass type you would like and we will be sending you a new pass .
- If my child is moving from a kid to a teen pass, can I reactivate the season pass?
- Yes, simply purchase the new pass online and we will reactivate the 2007/08 pass with the new 2008/09 pass type.
- What passes can be reactivated online?
- All Steamboat only passes (including Super Value Passes) and Ultimate passes purchased at Steamboat may be reactivated.
- What if I lost/misplaced my 2007/08 pass?
- You may purchase a new pass online, however you will need to come into the ticket office to get your new 2008/09 pass and photo.
- Is there a charge to reactivate a lost/misplaced pass?
- For the 2008/09 season, there will not be a charge for reissuing the lost/misplaced pass. For the 2009/10 season, there will be a charge for reactivating lost/misplaced passes. (Only the reissue for the first time applies - there is still a fee for replacing lost or stolen passes during the season.)
- Can passes older than 2007/08 be reactivated?
- No, only 2007/08 passes may be reactivated for the 2008/09 season.
- What if I want to change my photo on my pass?
- You can still reactivate your pass online. If you want to change your photo, you need to go directly to the main ticket office to have your new photo taken and receive a new pass. Be sure to bring your old pass with you.
- What if I purchased my Ultimate passs from Passwagon.com or at Copper Mountain or Winter Park - where do I renew my pass?
- You will need to renew your pass at Passwagon.com.
- I would like to purchase a Rocky Mountain Super Plus Pass this season - can I renew on line?
- If you purchased your Steamboat Pass, Super Value Pass, or Ulitmate pass at Steamboat or Steamboat.com, you will NOT be able to renew online. You will need to go to Copper Mountain, Winter Park or one of the Christy Sports Front Range locations in person to purchase a Rocky Mountain Super Plus Pass.
All passes require a signed liability release waiver before they will be activated.
