The Steamboat Wine Festival takes place July 30- August 2nd.

Come Celebrate the Senses July 30 - Aug 2, 2009 at the 6th Annual Wine Festival at Steamboat offering our guests an unparalleled opportunity to sample from over 800 wines, spirits and beers from around the globe. Visitors may also indulge in delicious "sample size" creations from the areas most desirable dining destinations.

Thursday, July 30th

5:00p-7:30p Wine on the Mountain Kickoff Celebration – Thunderhead (top of Gondola)

Do not miss this patron favorite event! Breathtaking views, fabulous wines, heavy apps, one-on-one time with your favorite winery, entertainment and music make the kickoff event the talk of the weekend. Support our non-profit partner Steamboat Stars during the auction, not only are we having a great time, but supporting this great organization that assists handicapped skiers and visitors. The event doesn't concentrate on wine only, take this opportunity to sample some prestige liquors as well.

Friday, July 31st

4:00p-7:00p Stroll of Steamboat - Check-in Court House (5th and Lincoln)

You and your wine glass may enjoy beautiful downtown Steamboat Springs as you casually meander up and down the streets sampling wines, enjoying tasty bites and shopping (window and actual) to your heart's content.

Saturday, August 1st

3:00p-6:00p Grand Tasting/Toast of Steamboat – Torian Plum Plaza

The signature event of the festival showcases over 800 wines, food from Steamboat's finest chefs, cooking demos in the Viking Outdoor Kitchen, music from Missed the Boat Band and other entertainment all at the doorstep of gorgeous Mt. Werner. If you can only attend one event, this is it!
