Curious about uphill ski tours in Steamboat Springs? In need of instruction to become more proficient with your ski touring gear? Our tours are perfect for fitness minded skiers looking for an introductory to intermediate ski experience near town on Emerald mountain.

You can use your own touring gear or we can fit you into appropriate uphill touring gear from Hagan, including boots, skis, skins, helmet, and poles, then provide instruction on how it all works to ‘skin’ up a snowy slope. Our guide will take you on a scenic route of 2 miles with 500 feet of vertical ascent. You can expect pointers on how to efficiently ski tour, how to operate your gear, and knowledge of the surrounding natural environment. After climbing you will make an easy descent back to the start.
