DAILY OVERVIEW

  • Meals and Snacks: Mountain Camp provides a morning snack and an afternoon snack for each camper. The family must provide lunch and we cannot refrigerate it since childrenoften eat away from the facility. Please provide dietary restrictions and/or allergies at the time of registration. Mountain Camp is not a peanut-free facility.
  • Packing List: All campers must bring a swimsuit, towel, water shoes, sun hat and sunglasses, water bottle, rain jacket, extra layer for warmth, appropriate footwear (no flip flops), and lunch each day. Crocs are permitted. Please pack everything in a zippered backpack or bag and label all items with camper's name.
  • Each camper must wear an official camp t-shirt each day. T-shirts are $15 and are available at check-in or when you register for camp. Deposit/registration fee includes one t-shirt.
  • Activities are age-appropriate and vary from crafts, concerts, swimming, sports games, outdoor exploration, bike riding, team building, water sports and more.

  • 9:00 - 9:30 AM: Circle Time, Group Organization, Discussion of Day's Activities
  • 9:30 - 11:45 AM: Morning Activities & Field Trips (Snack is provided)
  • 11:45 AM - 12:45 PM: Lunch and 20 Minute Quiet Time (Lunch is not provided or refrigerated)
  • 12:45 - 4:00 PM: Afternoon Activities & Field Trips (Snack is provided)
  • 4:00 PM: Back at Mountain Camp
  • 4:00 - 5:30pm: Pick up

Mountain Biking and Optional Weekly Camps
Mountain Biking Add-On
Campers 2nd grade and older can join us for action packed days of mountain biking on our world class downhill mountain biking trails. Develop skills, friendships and techniques in a fun, paced environment. Campers must provide their own downhill bikes, pads and full-face helmets. Additonal cost required.

Mountain bikes must have atleast front suspension and functional disc brakes on each wheel to participate in lessons. Downhill-specific frames are preferred. Children must be in Routt Scouts or Pioneers and already be registered for camp that day. Available Tuesdays - Thursdays.

Creative Minds Art Camp | July 21 - 25, 2025
Calling all artists 7–16 years old to come and join us for a 5-day creative design experience. Steamboat Resort’s Mountain Camp introduces Creative Minds Art Camp! Explore a variety of art forms in beautiful locations around our valley. Additionally, our kiddos will get a behind the scenes look at how Steamboat Resort uses art every day to create magic, learn how to use your environment as inspiration, and create your own design for a chance to be featured around Steamboat Resort. With presentations from our very own artists as well as local artists, you will become fully immersed in Steamboat’s creative world.

Date for Creative Minds Art Camp is July 21 - 25, 2025. There will be a flat fee for the 5 days, billed monthly. To sign up, select the camp week during the registration process, email mountaincamp@steamboat.com, or stop by Steamboat Resort's Mountain Camp headquarters located adjacent to the Gondola Transit Center at the top of the escalators.

Climbing Camp
Welcoming children ages 7-16 to join us for 5 days of climbing, games and outdoor adventure in partnership with Steamboat Climbing Collective. Students will spend 5 days learning basic and intermediate climbing techniques and will be broken into groups based on climbing ability level. Students will mix up their week by playing a myriad of games (indoors and outdoors) with the instructors at SCC. Children will come with a bag lunch. Mountain Camp will provide morning and afternoon snacks as well as transportation to and from Steamboat Climbing Collective.

We will have two booking options for families. Choose one or both!
Week 1: June 16 - 20, 2025
Week 2: July 28 - August 1, 2025
1 - 9 DAY CAMPERS

More than 48-hours before camp start date: Days can be cancelled or rescheduled if space is available. Days booked can be used for that child only.
Less than 48-hours before camp start date: No credit/refund will be given for cancelled days.Days cannot be rescheduled.


10+ DAY CAMPERS

Camp registration requires a $75 deposit (includes the $25 registration fee) and payments on 10+ Day Camp Packages are due the 1stday of the month. You must complete any change to the number of days of your booking by May 31, 2025. After May 31, you are financially responsible for the number of days you have booked. No refunds/credits will be given for cancelled or unused days.

You may reschedule camp days if you do so more than 48 hours before your camp start date and space is available for the modified date. Days rescheduled within 48 hours of your initial camp start date are not eligible for refunds or credits.
