The Best Trail Experience in Steamboat Springs Every ride starts from our downtown Yampa St Workshop where we serve up a complete mountain biking experience, for beginner riders on up to experts. You can explore new terrain and gain confidence on a range of terrain with a guided tour on Emerald mountain. Knowing where to ride, having helpful and patient support, and the right gear, are key to ensuring you have a great ride experience.

Guided Experiences Include:

    • Access our mountain bike rental fleet with discounts on any gear from our shop.
    • A local guide with first aid training will handle navigation and can provide helpful tips and skill instruction (you tell us how much instruction you would like, we don’t do unsolicited explaining on our rides) .
    • Tools, first aid supplies, and snacks provided by your guide.
    • Photos and GoPro video shared post ride.
    • Post ride finish back at 910 Yampa St’s Mountain Tap Brewery for pizza and beer (Additional Charge).

    Guided rides are offered under permit from the City of Steamboat Springs, rates includes trail user fee. Book your tour at least 7 days in advance to ensure availability. Maximum group size for guided tours is 4 riders and minimum age is 16. A guide gratuity is suggested if you have an excellent outing with your guide.

    We will accommodate all ability levels, however for an enjoyable experience riders should come prepared for periods of strenuous riding, variable weather, and terrain challenges. We do our best to asses your riding ability and needs in advance of your ride, so just let us know if there is anything we should be aware of so we can accommodate.
