Join us for the Yampa Valley Balloon Rodeo Watch Party at the Meadows Parking Lot on Saturday and Sunday, July 27 and 28. Each morning, two balloons will launch, and Shannon Lukens from Steamboat Radio will announcing. There will be breakfast burritos and coffee available for purchase as you watch the balloons soar overhead.

Please note that this event is weather-dependent, with conditions such as rain and wind playing a crucial role. The balloons' flight paths will be determined by the wind direction.

Parking is available in the Meadows Lot, accessible via Bangtail Way. Kindly leave your furry friends at home.

6:00 AM - Balloons Arrive in Meadows Lot
6:30 AM - Balloons begin inflation
6:45 AM - SSRC Food & Beverage selling burritos and coffee
7:00 AM - Balloons Launch – 7:00 AM in the Meadow’s Lot
Most balloons will launch from Bald Eagle Lake, but no spectators are allowed
6:45-8:45 AM – Tailgating watching the balloons floating above
