Haymaker Golf Course is owned by the City of Steamboat Springs, which is committed to environmental sustainability. This 18-hole championship course, designed by Keith Foster, features a full practice facility, pro shop, and Haymaker Patio Grill. This 223-acre championship course features vistas of the Yampa Valley, and a snow-capped Mount Werner frames almost every hole. The spectacular Flat Top Mountain Range serves as a picturesque backdrop for this challenging links-style course. Native grasses and wetlands enhance the wide open fairways, where many elk, eagles, and blue herons also roam this vast ranch-land environment. Haymaker Golf Course also has a substantial practice area driving range, sand trap, chipping and putting green. The course lends itself to golfers of all abilities from novice to professional.

Tee Time and Course Information
Haymaker Golf is open to the public May through October, weather permitting. Junior golfers (ages 6 to 18) and adults (19 & up), may add additional adult or junior golfer. Pricing varies with tee times and spring, summer, fall dates. A tee time will be reserved for you, Haymaker Golf Course will email you to confirm tee time. The green fees include cart.

LOCATION
Located five minutes from town at the corner of Hwy 40 and Hwy 131. Head east from downtown on Highway 40 (Lincoln Avenue), going toward Rabbit Ears Pass, the course will be on the right directly past the intersection with Highway 131.

Audubon International is an education and certification program that helps golf courses protect the environment and preserve the natural heritage of the game of golf. Haymaker was the first golf course in Colorado to achieve Audubon International Signature certification.

Audubon International offers planning, technical and education services through the Signature Program, helping new developments protect natural resources both on and off-site. With a focus on biodiversity conservation, environmental quality, and sustainable resource management, Audubon International works closely with planners, architects, and key stakeholders to incorporate these core values, and ensure that the can continue after the construction is completed. Haymaker is re-certified on a regular basis.
