Summer Horseback Rides
Horseback riding on Saddleback Ranch is a perfect opportunity to enjoy the beautiful Colorado scenery, take some gorgeous pictures, and learn about the cattle. There is an excellent chance of seeing wildlife on this horseback riding excursion near Steamboat. Offering 1-hour or 2-hour Photo Opportunity Horseback Rides, or 3-hour Picnic Ride, you'll ride over the hills and through the trees of the picturesque landscape of Saddleback Ranch.

CATTLE DRIVES
Cattle drives are a time where you can get back to life's essentials. The horse riding pace on cattle drives is usually slow, that's what makes a cattle drive a wonderful experience with time to gain respect for these animals, learn a little about yourself in the process, and maybe make a four-legged friend or two. Spend the morning with us as we move cattle, check for sickness, and make sure that everything on the ranch is doing well. Our cattle drive rides are unique in that they are not "nose to tail" trail rides. Nothing here is "staged" and day-to-day tasks do vary.
